Our Rehabilitation service is comprehensive because it encompasses actions for health promotion, disease prevention as well as diagnosis, cure and rehabilitation, and different medical specialties are interrelated, such as:

    Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
    Natural and Traditional Medicine.
    Chiropody.
    Defectology.
    Speech Therapy and Phoniatrics.
    Occupational Therapy.

STRUCTURE AND SERVICES BY DEPARTMENT:

Our institution is a response to the development of the Primary Care Strategy and contributes to the achievement of equity, efficiency and coverage of health services in places such as:

    The Gym: where therapeutic rehabilitation exercises are performed for better capacity depending on the limitation.
    Electrotherapy Department: Magnetotherapy, Ultrasound, Electrical Stimuli, Hivamat, Laser Diathermy services are provided.
    In the Department of Natural and Traditional Medicine: Suction Cup, Digitopuncture, Electropuncture, Acupuncture and Auriculotherapy are provided.
    Department of Defectology and Logophonoaudiology: the Early Stimulation consultation is provided, where children born at risk are cared for, the mental retardation and disabled program is attended, in addition to consultation with pregnant women where they are told about prenatal stimulation.
    Infrared Heat and Massage Department: patients are offered superficial heat and massages.
    Occupational Therapy: where the patient is prepared to perform in daily life and to improve their capacity for independence.
    Other services are provided such as Therapeutic Gymnastics where people with non-communicable diseases such as HTA, Diabetes, Obese, Asthmatics are cared for.
